Welcome to YouR therapy, a synapse to healing operated by Aysha Fabeela, a mental health professional. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of psychological services provided by YouR therapy (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines shared with you. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Nature of Services
YouR therapy offers the following mental health services:
- Individual online therapy sessions (via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp)
- Psychoeducation and mental health awareness
- Assessments and therapeutic screening tools
- Webinars, workshops, and group support sessions (if applicable)
- Referral assistance (to psychiatrists, hospitals, or specialists, as required)
Please Note: This service is not for emergency situations. If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or require urgent psychiatric care, please contact a local emergency number or visit the nearest hospital.
Eligibility
YouR therapy offers the following mental health services:
- Individual online therapy sessions (via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp)

- Assessments and therapeutic screening tools
- Webinars, workshops, and group support sessions (if applicable)
- Referral assistance (to psychiatrists, hospitals, or specialists, as required)

Appointment Policy
Booking Requirements
- Appointments must be booked at least 12 hours in advance.
- Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of full payment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations or reschedules must be done at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled session.
- A full refund or rescheduling is allowed if done within the accepted timeframe.
- Cancellations made less than 6 hours before the session will receive partial or no refund, subject to the nature of the emergency and therapist discretion.
No-Show Policy
- If the client does not join within 10 minutes of the scheduled time without prior notice, the session will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.
Late Arrivals
- Sessions will begin and end as scheduled. If the client is late, the session will proceed for the remaining time only.
- The therapist will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.
- Chronic tardiness may result in rescheduling or discontinuation of services.
Session Format and Boundaries
- Sessions are conducted online only unless otherwise agreed.
- The therapist will not engage outside of session hours for non-emergency issues.
- No therapeutic advice or support will be given via personal WhatsApp, social media, or calls outside the designated sessions.
- The therapist-client relationship is strictly professional and not open to personal, business, or romantic interactions.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
All information shared in therapy is strictly confidential and handled in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Limits of Confidentiality
Confidentiality will be breached only under the following conditions:
- Imminent risk of harm to self or others
- Disclosure of child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of vulnerable individuals
- Court orders or requests from legal authorities
- Referral to another professional where sharing clinical information is necessary and with your consent
YouR therapy complies with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 under Indian law.
Fees and Payments
- All session fees are non-negotiable and must be paid in advance.
- Payment methods include UPI, bank transfer, and third-party gateways
- Sessions will only be confirmed after successful payment.
- YouR therapy reserves the right to update fees at any time. Ongoing clients will be informed in advance.
Refund and Rescheduling Policy
Refunds may be provided:
- If the therapist cancels or is unavailable and rescheduling is not possible.
- If the client cancels with more than 4 hours’ notice.
Refunds will not be issued:
- For no-shows or late cancellations.
- If the session is terminated due to misconduct.
- For dissatisfaction with the outcome of therapy, as results vary based on client participation and context.
Misconduct and Session Termination
YouR therapy maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the following:
- Sexual harassment, lewd comments, or inappropriate gestures
- Verbal abuse, threats, or aggressive communication
- Boundary violations, such as requesting personal information or contact outside sessions
- Recording sessions without permission.
In such cases:
- The session will be terminated immediately.
- The client may be permanently barred from using services.
- No refund will be provided.
- Legal steps may be taken, if necessary.
Emergency Protocol
YouR therapy maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the following:
- Sexual harassment, lewd comments, or inappropriate gestures

Client Responsibilities
By engaging in therapy, clients agree to:
- Attend sessions with respect and openness
- Provide accurate and honest information
- Refrain from illegal, manipulative, or unethical behaviour
- Follow session boundaries and therapy recommendations to the best of their ability
Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide ethical, evidence-based psychological services
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Refer to another provider when appropriate
- Maintain clear communication regarding appointments, fees, and scope of services
Use of Technology
- Sessions are conducted using secure video platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Clients are responsible for ensuring a quiet, private, and stable internet connection.
- YouR therapy is not liable for disruptions due to the client’s internet issues or technical problems on the client’s end.
Intellectual Property
All materials (workbooks, psychoeducation handouts, etc.) provided by YouR therapy are intellectual property and may not be distributed, copied, or shared without explicit written permission.
Termination of Services
YouR therapy reserves the right to terminate services if:
- the client repeatedly violates boundaries or policies.
- therapy is no longer beneficial or appropriate.
- the client refuses a referral when necessary.
- ethical concerns arise.
Clients may also end therapy voluntarily at any time.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India specifically under:
- The Mental Healthcare Act, 2017
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- Guidelines of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Any dispute shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings held in Calicut, Kerala in English.
Policy Updates
YouR therapy reserves the right to update or change these Terms. Continued use of the services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. Major changes will be communicated via meeting sessions or posted on the official platform.
